THE PR SCHOOL Contract
I hereby agree and declare that I have read all the rules and regulations governing admission and fees payable to the THE PR SCHOOL and agree to abide by the same. I understand that I / my child, have / has to complete all the sessions of the online course from THE PR SCHOOL in order to successfully complete the online course and, if applicable, to receive the Certificate of Completion.
I understand that THE PR SCHOOL reserves the right to change/modify the rules and regulations from time to time and I agree to abide by the same. The decision of THE PR SCHOOL in selection will be final and binding on me. I hereby declare that all the requisite information provided by me / my child to THE PR SCHOOL is true and correct to the best of my knowledge.
By clicking on the box as required and appearing below the contents herein, I certify and state that I have read, understood and agreed to the rules and regulations of THE PR SCHOOL including my financial responsibilities as specified herein below.
OBLIGATIONS
1.0 Curriculum
1.1 The online course is offered to students who intend to improve and enhance their PR skills.
1.2 Details of the contents of online courses of the THE PR SCHOOL are available on THE PR SCHOOL website www.theprschool.net
1.3 In its endeavour to offer the latest curriculum to students, THE PR SCHOOL keeps pace with emerging trends and changing requirements of the industry and updates its online course contents from time to time. In the unlikely event that a student has an objection to these changes, he is required to inform the PR Coach in writing within this period.
2.0 Admission
2.1 Admission to a Programme is not transferable to any other individual
2.2. Before completing the enrolment process, students are required to go through and understand the contents of the online programme/course, THE PR SCHOOL’s students’ obligations as stated in the Agreement.
2.3 Validity of Admission: Normal expiry of admission occurs upon the completion of the student’s programme/course and the assignment is submitted, and once the Certificate of Completion is awarded, where applicable. Cancellation of admission can take place for disciplinary reasons, as explained in item 6 below. Unless normally expired or cancelled, a student’s admission to a programme remains valid till the expiry of the programme’s last day of class.
3.0 Fees
3.1 All the courses are free. There are no fees for any course.
4.0 Methodology:
4.1 The medium of Instruction for all courses is English.
4.2. The student’s continuing and participative interest in the education and allied processes is integral to fulfilling the deliverables of the programme/course satisfactorily.
4.3 Students are expected to complete 100% of the course modules and assignment in order to get the full benefit of the programme.
5.0 Course Material
5.1 THE PR SCHOOL provides THE PR SCHOOL’s proprietary course material to students. Normally, students do not require consulting any other text or reference book beyond this specially-designed courseware. The Courseware is in the form of online learning modules and downloadable and printable handouts and resources.
5.2 THE PR SCHOOL Courseware is protected under copyright; and reproducing and distributing it in any form or by any means is illegal. This clause holds true in perpetuity. In the event that the student is under-age, i.e. below 18 years of age, when beginning a particular course, this clause holds true, in perpetuity, even after the student comes of age.
6.0 Cancellation of Admission
6.1 It is expected of students to adhere to the norms of discipline, etiquette and decorum within the course. Non-adherence to these norms may lead to admission being cancelled.
6.2 Failure to display continuing and participative interest in education and allied services by the student, may also lead to cancellation of admission.
7.0 Refunds
7.1 No portion of the fee is refundable i.e. the fee is entirely and wholly non-refundable.
8.0 General
8.1 This agreement is between THE PR SCHOOL and the student and is for the benefit of THE PR SCHOOL and the Student only. No right or liability shall accrue to any person other than the THE PR SCHOOL and the Student under this agreement.
8.2 Force Majeure: THE PR SCHOOL shall not be liable for delay or failure in performance of any of its obligations under the Agreement when such delay or failure arises from events or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of THE PR SCHOOL (including, without limitation, acts of God, fire, flood, war, explosion, sabotage, terrorism, embargo, civil commotion, acts or omissions of any government entity, supplier delays, communications or power failure, equipment or software malfunction, or labour disputes). To clarify further, THE PR SCHOOL shall not be liable to the students for punitive, exemplary, special, indirect, or consequential damages, including, without limitation, lost profits.
I fully know that, the contents aforesaid are in the nature of an electronic agreement and by virtue of my clicking in the box herein below, I have given my consent to the contents thereof and this electronic agreement will be a binding contract between me / my child and THE PR SCHOOL as enshrined in the law relating to Contracts in India.
